Fortunately the burgers at @dognvillburger are a little more aesthetically pleasing than others I’ve eaten in Oslo. I opted for the most spicy one I could find (obviously), and this “Steele-Nils” came packed with sautéed habaneros, green chilli and jalapeño, double helping of ENGLISH 🏴 Cheddar, lettuce and their house burger sauce. I accompanied them with sweet potato fries and aioli dip.
To start with the spice was oddly lacking but built up over time, nothing I couldn’t handle after stepping inside from -3C. Burger pink and juicy, with a sauce that dribbled over my fingers whilst eating, made it more sloppy and pulled everything together but couldn’t remember anything specifically about it, so not remarkable. The fries were really good, so many places hand them out soggy, but these were correctly crunchy 😋 and delicious with aioli.
