Whilst Crystal Palace isn’t far from home, it’s only been a place I’ve driven past and never stopped. Having received a WhatsApp photo from @kashif.a.khan the food envy raged and so promptly we set off in search of sweet treats and coffee from @colairos 😋
The starting point has to be the exceptionally friendly welcome from the staff which immediately created a positive energy around the discussion of best items in the shop. The good news is, that with such a good selection I will have to visit again to try more and chat to the staff 😊.
We took a couple of doughnuts, which were both fresh and filling, enjoyed more than I should have, but then nothing beats the lip licking sugary coating.
I also picked up a pistachio babka, out of curiosity. The most memorable thing was the rich butteriness, not something to take lightly.
Wifey enjoyed the passion fruit patisserie, was balanced well, so not overly tart and creamy.
Great flat white, really enjoyed that, probably one of the best I’ve had in a while.
